From Glamorous Vlogger Photos to Retro Film Set Photography

While old Hollywood hair isn't exactly a new idea in the world of beauty, the past year has really seen the glamorous golden age come back with a vengeance in fashion photography.
From stylized retro editorials to glam gymnasium photo shoots and even burlesque worthy sunglasses, we saw a return to loose luxurious waves, tons of volume and red lips to match. These hairdos are a throwback to classic cinema from the late 1930s to early 1960s and starlets like Marilyn Monroe, Bridget Bardot and Grace Kelly. Celebrities today are emulating their old Hollywood hair ways, as seen with the Amy Adams L'Officiel cover. Burlesque performer Dita von Teese is known for emulating this style and is featured in a number of esthetically similar shoots.
