From Sustainable Pyramids to Disaster-Safe Pyramids

While the pyramid has a deep-rooted history in Egypt, this iconic structure is resurfacing in many architectural projects all around the world.
Many newer pyramids have intriguingly modern features being built into the structure. For example, Korvelo made a super safe pyramid created from steel where the windows are bulletproof. Even more impressively, Abu Dhabi is outfitted with nine huge pyramids that provide power to residences via solar energy. There is was even a mobile pyramid made in Munich for the Opera Festival of 2010!
From these examples it is safe to conclude that ancient Egyptian architecture lives on along with Egyptian history through the embodiment of modern pyramid architecture. While they are made of different materials and are utilized differently today, this is no doubt an homage to Egyptian ancestry in an updated form.
