More and more gadgets and innovations are being designed to make the lives of the visually impaired much easier. From braille readers to cameras for the blind and a canine GPS for service dog, this cluster of innovations for the visually impaired has it all!
Implications - Technology for those with sensory disabilities has progressed in its intended purpose. What was once created to make life easier now strives to make life "normal," with products released to help the visually impaired do things that every consumer does daily, such as use a cellphone or drink a beer. Essentially, technology for those with disabilities is aiming to create a way for all individuals to be equal.
