The Stunning Suspended Support of Dangling Delights
Katie Cordrey — July 28, 2010 — Art & Design
Whether lounging midair between two trees or giving a broken arm a rest, hammocks and slings are suspended support that most of us will use at some time in our lives.
Hammocks and slings both use loosely hung fabric or other material in order to create a cradle that can carry, move, support or even propel a person or an object. We're happy to have a sling when we break an arm and glad for a hammock when we want a little rest.
