Not too long ago, the Internet was taken by a frowning feline dubbed Grumpy Cat. Grumpy's real name is Tardar Sauce. Her owners say that she isn't actually perpetually upset, she just has feline dwarfism, which is why she is also so small for her age. At home she has an almost equally adorable brother named Pokey who the web is also paying some attention to.
Grumpy Cat is not just famous on the Internet,-- she is also famous in real life. She has her own manager, she was featured in TIME magazine, starred in a cat food commercial, greeted guest at SXSW and was even interviewed by Anderson Cooper. That being said, her roots on the Internet are still deep. Lots of Grumpy-themed innovation have come out of the web, such as famous photo manipulations, feline fashion and a host of other oddities.
