These Tech-Specs Pay Homage to the Google Glass Release
Kyle Towers — February 24, 2013 — Tech
The Google Glass release is finally upon us, but the many other ancestor high-tech spectacles deserve their own spectacle.
The Google Glass project just may have been inspired by these ingenious pairs of eyewear that allow users to enhance colors, take pictures and more. Google Glass may be able to do a lot of things, but can it open a bottle of beer? One of the most difficult things to include with high-tech glasses is style. Combining functionality with style is always a struggle, but I would say that it can sometimes be pulled off quite well.
So don't let the Google Glass release have you forget its predecessors. A lot of them are still as useful as they were when they came out.
