From Multifunctional Glass Sculptures to Vibrant Glass Lighting

These glass design innovations range from multifunctional glass sculptures to chromatic glass lighting.
Standouts include 'Homo,' an immersive sculpture by Russian creative Grigory Gorkovenko. "For the silhouette, the designer used more than 50 glass spheres and hemispheres that are multi-colored, creating a playfully whimsical aesthetic" and debuted the new piece during Dezeen's most recent Virtual Design Fair event. In addition to its striking, sculptural quality, the piece is also a three-in-on, multifunctional object.
FOREVER STUDIO's Tubular Handlamp is another notable example crafted from glass and resin. The tube lamp is available to purchase via design retailer Cool Machine Shop and boasts six playful color options -- with grey, lilac, green, rusty, coral and a buttercream shades featured.
