From Multitouch Touchscree Tables to Tech-Integrated Furniture

There was a time when the concept of futuristic furniture was confined to a very niche space, but these days there are a wide variety of designers, engineers and inventors coming up with furniture pieces that people once thought could only exist in sci-fi movies.
Indeed some of this furniture pieces are rethinking some of our most fundamental conceptions. Desks that regulate temperature, tell us to consider sitting or standing and include touchscreen interfaces are just some examples.
Other futuristic furniture pieces include chairs and tables that may not have the above stated high-tech features, but look futuristic in some way, shape of form. All of these products are redefining the boundaries surrounding the concept of furniture, whilst staying true to basic and essential functionality.
