Fashion pop-up shops are here to stay (not literally, of course). The inevitable novelty of "here one day, gone the next" hasn't worn off on shoppers frothing at the mouth for the most exclusive and cutting edge fashion pieces and experiences.
Being able to track down a retail pop-up shop and get through the long lines to purchase merchandise is almost a right of passage for fashionistas navigating the busy streets of metropolises from Paris to NYC. It may be more inconvenient than going to the local mall, but brands are increasingly utilizing social media to feed into this pop-up frenzy by tweeting out location hints or allowing shoppers to find pop-up locations via augmented reality.
The world of fashion pop-ups is becoming more interactive and more fashionable for the mainstream shopper.
