While we're certainly not out of the water yet, oil prices have fallen noticeably. The national average is now $3.403, which provides an excellent opportunity to point out all of the fun badass gas guzzlers we've kept in the garage all summer long.
Drivers of hybrids and gas-efficient microcars have been thumbing their noses at oil prices for months, filling their tanks for pocket change. On the other end of the demand chain, drivers of trucks, SUVs and other gas-guzzling behemoths have felt the pain at the pump as oil prices climbed earlier this year.
These 18 automobiles certainly aren't paragons of energy efficiency. But for their drivers, they're essential. What better time to celebrate them than today, when oil prices are at their lowest in a year?
