Every holiday season, the Christmas clothing gets more and more tacky. It's gotten so bad that hipsters have made the 'Ugly Christmas Sweater' an ironic fashion statement. Cool kids are now going so far as to throw ugly Christmas sweater parties.
There are also those who just unabashedly love the holidays and don't care who knows. This mix of earnest and ironic love of the season has made tacky Christmas clothing show up everywhere. From festive jingle bell heels to cheeky knitwear and even sexy Santa lingerie, people aren't afraid to announce their child-like enthusiasm.
Not even beauty (which is a bit of a misnomer in this case) is safe from the spread of seasonal sartorialism. With Grinch stickers and Christmas sweater styled designs, even your nails aren't safe from Santa's clutched.
That being said, don't feel too bad if you enjoy a little seasonal style shenanigans. If wearing Christmas tree earrings and pretending to be an old man with a stomach that shakes like jelly while with your significant other is how you enjoy your holidays, I wont judge you.
