The iPod may have a large chunk of the portable music player market, but the Zune is definitely a close second. Microsoft may not have the swank minimalist image of Apple, but what it does have is lower prices, and in the midst of an economic crisis, that is what a lot of people are looking for.
Apple recently lowered their prices on entry level iPods. Will this affect the Zune’s sales? Or will Microsoft keep its clients and gain more during this period of economic uncertainty?
