The team at Studio SKLIM presents the LoHi Tech project which is a progressive solution that blends both high and low technologies together to form a hybrid solution that is eco-friendly and efficient. The project relies on the power of primitive materials coming together to honor ancient and contemporary technology. It features two main material building systems including "the Ke-Sol System (KSS) and the Terra-Cooling System (TCS)."
The Ke-Sol System blends the power of Kenaf fibers in lightweight roof tiles with custom solar panels. These are merged to generate clean energy through the modular configurations. Otherwise, the Trra-Cooling System optimizes the natural elements of terracotta ith inspiration from how ancient refrigeration and irrigation work to convert hot air to cool air.
