Matthew M Williams recently joined forces with Nike on the Zoom MMW 5 clog design and first showcased the futuristic silhouette during the 1017 ALYX 9SM Spring/Summer 2023 show. The shoe has a two-piece molding production process and it generally just separates the black outsole unit from the Volt tonal uppers.
The Volt uppers cannot be missed with their start tones and their textured pattern that takes on a sustainable mindset. It is designed with inspiration from the Oakley logo and has a touch of branding in the form of a small Swoosh along with the MMW logo at the top of the foot. It also has three large windows in order to allow breathability and small perforations at the heel for water drainage.
