Zippers, opera gloves and leather were featured prominently in the Phi collection for Fall 2009. Zippered minis came in the form of both dresses and skirts; both accented with ultra-wide belts, patch pockets and ribbed hems.
Not a bare arm was to be seen as Phi designer Andreas Melbostad, showed the emerging opera glove trend with prominence; black leather, quilted and smooth.
The modern high-necked dresses were in black, burgundy and grey were detailed with sequins, multi-textural fabrics and vertical banding. They were all teamed with opaque leggings and biker-inspired high-heeled buckled ankle boots.
