There’s no doubt that YouTube has taken over the world by storm and it’s only going to get better now that they have incorporated a 2-day trial of its new YouTube Streaming Platform. With four content partners -- Howcast, Next New Networks, Rocketboom and Hollywood -- this test is bound to be a worldwide hit.
Broadcasters can now stream live video directly into YouTube channels—all you need is a webcam and/or external USB/FireWire camera. The YouTube Streaming Platform also includes live commenting modules.
The test platform is only live from September 13-14, 2010 starting at 8:00 AM PT. However, it is brand new so just don’t expect everything to be perfect!
