Youth Social Innovation Capital Fund (YSI) is a Canadian organization based on the ever evolving Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), which itself has recently expanded to both Regent Park and New York. It's a well-rounded community and support group type of coming together that offers young people tools to grow their social ventures: debt financing, networking, mentorship, impact measurement, etc. By connecting the members with impact investors, YSI bridges the gap between these two groups that operate in different circles and likely, wouldn't get the chance to coexist in a business sense.
The early stage for YSI began in 2010 as a collaboration between Social Finance Change and Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada (YSEC).
