‘Youth Orchestra of Haiti' Helps Youth Thanks to Wyclef Jean

Wyclef Jean, OA and Yele Hati have come together to form a program that gives the gift of classical music to underprivilaged children in the Carribean. "Youth Orchestra of Haiti" is that growing group of bright young minds.

Children and youth from underprivileged neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince and Haiti interpret the great compositions of Classical music and Haitian folk music. It’s an attempt to prevent youth violence and reduce school drop out rates in the Caribbean.

Props to Wyclef, who did something with his career, instead of starting a fashion line. Youth orchestra in Haiti has begun writing global composition to alieviate crime.
