Lauren Porter is a student at Bath Spa University who knitted the yarn Ferrari for a student project. A project this large required a lot of yarn -- 12 miles, to be exact -- and some help. A team of 20 knitters worked on the project, which took 10 months to complete. The knit Ferrari isn't actually inspired by a specific Ferrari model; it is a mix of many of the brand's iconic cars like the Testarossa and the F355.
