Implications - Though it is absolutely everywhere, technology still is and always will be an area of fascination for consumers. Thus, movies, music and other releases will continue to bear a machinist inspiration until humanoid robots become a commonplace reality. The use of robot imagery feeds into an urge for nostalgia on a consumer's part, whose earliest memories of robots are probably rooted back to toys.
