French architect Paul Coudamy designed the 'Woodwave Screen,' a bespoke beech wood screen and storage system, for a rental apartment in Paris.
The lightweight structure was constructed using 131 blocks of wood, and acts as a separator between the kitchen and living room without being too obstructive or suffocating. There is space for the cantilever dining room to sit comfortably, bridging the gap between the two rooms.
The screen can also adapt to the bedroom, where the same space between the blocks is used to accommodate a bedside table, instead of the dining table, and acts as a visual focal point for the room. Ultimately, the Woodwave Screen is a gorgeous and practical piece of furniture that will entourage space efficiency.
