Designer Cecilie Manz collaborated with Rud Rasmussen to create this elegant wooden mini-bar for Wallpaper's Handmade exhibition. This wooden mini-bar concept combines retro accents with mondernized design.
The bar itself is handcrafted with marble and cherry wood. At its essence, the bar's skeleton resembles a standalone bathroom sink. In place of the sink there is a low-hanging basin for ice. The tabletop is used as the place to craft and create drinks. There is also a wooden paneled backing to the bar that reaches past the ice basin and acts as a wall to hang glassware.
The mini-basin is fully equipped with music capabilities and a carefully selected list of beverages and bar snacks. A few of these items include an "Austrian Riesling, Swiss dark chocolate, Japanese koi hojicha tea and Spanish roasted almonds."
