Estee Lauder is Awarding Women in STEM Fields

Estee Lauder is attempting to spotlight the achievements of women in STEM fields after partnering with a media platform called Nature.

Together, the two brands are creating two new international awards, the first being the Nature Research Award for Inspiring Science and second is the Nature Research Award for Innovating Science. The first, will honor female PHD candidates who have made notable achievements in their field within the last 10 years. The second award will honor a candidate who organizes initiatives that increase the accessibility of STEM fields for women, or boost engagement.

This move is aimed to be reflective of Estee Lauder's values as the company built by a woman, for a woman, and a brand that employs numerous female scientists.
