American outdoor footwear brand Wolverine has teamed up with iconic rock band Metallica to drop the Wolverine x Metallica Collection, a hardcore capsule featuring three limited-edition Wolverine boots and matching apparel.
Delivered in a matte black Horween leather, the new Plain-Toe Rugged boot reworks the classic Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot. It also comes equipped with edgy additions, including AWHM blue stitching, a metal toe-kicker, a robust Vibram outside, and a limited edition tongue tag.
The new collection also presents the Wolverine Hellcat UltraSpring Work Boot, built with construction workers in mind, and the Wolverine Hellcat UltraSpring Wedge, an everyday model delivered in a casual wedge style. As a whole, the collection aims to celebrate and support the next generation of tradespeople.
"This partnership will continue to shine a light on the opportunities in the skilled trades and support students as they work toward establishing rewarding, sustainable careers," said Metallica’s James Hetfield.
