Microsoft is currently working towards giving users of Windows 10 the ability to decide how their data is shared. In order to achieve this, the company is making changes in the Settings app and the Group Policy settings for the new operating system. The changes were witnessed Microsoft’s working version of windows 10, titled ‘19577.’
With the new data controls, users would the ability to determine how much of their diagnostic data is shared. Users would still have to share some diagnostic data, however, they will also have the ability to limit this by not sharing all of their data. Some of the data that will be mandatory to share includes the user's IP address and what device they are running Windows 10 on.
