Oklahoma City Council just approved a liquor license to a venue that is definitely one of the most unlikely places of all to sell alcohol: the Wilshire Gun Range. Let's just say this could be a hit or miss.
The huge establishment will allow people to take shots -- of alcohol and with their guns. Many people have taken to social media and the media to voice their concerns of mixing weaponry with liquor, but according to the co-owner Jeff Swanson, visitors must shoot before drinking. They will be denied entrance into the shooting range areas after they have ordered a single drink. Employees are also being trained in field sobriety, so that they can detect when people are drunk both in-person and via surveillance cameras.
