The Dress Tents project, which first began over 10 years ago, has recently been expanded to include a new selection of tents that were also worn as massive dresses before being photographed by the duo of Robin Lasser and Adrienne Pao to celebrate and explore the peculiar and fascinating concept of wearable architecture.
Each of these tents is capable of being flat-packed like a regular tent, but they can also be expanded out to expose their full range of shapes, colors and patterns and be 'worn' by a model before being photographed to create stunning and mind-bending visual art.
If these visual representations of wearable architecture seem funny, it's because they're meant to be. This is a project that fuses different aspects of design in a manner that is at once open-minded and irreverent.
