Remote-Controlled Weapon Towers

The Tower Hawk System Uses Tower-Mounted Remote-Controlled Weapons

Weapon towers are a very important element of any military presence, but guarding them and keeping them staffed is labor-intensive and pretty boring and unpleasant for the guards themselves. Indeed the US Army usually requires four to six soldiers standing for up to 12 hours to cover a single perimeter weapons system. But the army's all new Tower Hawk System uses tower-mounted remote-controlled weapons to secure base perimeters.

This system replaces traditional weapon towers with unmanned towers placed around the edge of the razor wide. Shipped in the form of containers, these towers can easily erected in less than an hour by six soldiers with only very basic training.

Each tower comes with a Browning M-2 50-caliber machine gun and a 338 Lapua sniper rifle. Ultimately, this system ensures greater efficiency and better use of human military resources.
