Futuristic Waterfall-Inspired Sinks

The Water Curtain Features Embedded Size-Detecting Sensors

When creating the Water Curtain, designers Jiaqing Zhang, Chen Gao, Xin Ai and Liye Zhang sought to develop a sink that offered its users convenience and user-friendly features without compromising style. The result is this futuristic stainless steel kitchen aid, which is characterized by an elongated spout that provides a waterfall-like flow.

The sink's spout offers optimal coverage, making for an easier means of washing plates, fruits and veggies. Unlike other sinks, the Water Curtain comes equipped with embedded sensors that detects the size of an object placed underneath it, so that the flow of water may be adjusted accordingly. This auto-detection feature prevents water waste while offering a dual-stream system, meaning two people can wash their hands at the same time.
