Games Workshop, a British-based company focused on miniature tabletop wargames, announced that it would be launching a subscription service called Warhammer Plus. The new service—a first for the niche industry—includes exclusive access to Warhammer 40K and Age of Sigmar materials. In addition, Warhammer Plus includes Warhammer animated content, weekly Warhammer shows, access to a database full of Warhammer publications like White Dwarf, access to the Warhammer apps, exclusive access to events, and offers, and a free Citadel miniature.
The subscription service is broken down into two separate sections, the Warhammer 40K side and the Age of Sigmar side. Each section of the service will get content curated specifically for those fandoms. The Warhammer Plus subscription service will launch on August 25th, 2021. Fans can choose from a monthly fee or an annual fee that offers two months for free.
