Walmart and DoorDash Announced a New Partnership in Canada

Walmart and DoorDash have announced a new partnership in Canada to provide consumers with a new delivery option when shopping online. The partnership will see DoorDash shoppers available as an option for delivery when placing an order through the brand's app or website, which will provide them with a fast way to get their hands on the items they need. Customers can continue placing items onto their shopping list until the dasher arrives at the store to start shopping, which leaves wiggle room to add in items that might have been forgotten.

VP, Omnichannel & Online Grocery at Walmart Ignacio Baladron spoke on the Walmart and DoorDash partnership saying, "We're thrilled to collaborate with DoorDash to offer Canadians another fast and convenient way to access our broad assortment, right at their fingertips. DoorDash opens our doors to Canadians who are strapped for time, in need of last-minute items or who prefer to shop from the comfort of their home – especially as we head into the holiday season. We’re proud to continue our journey to become the number one omnichannel retailer as we live out our mission of helping Canadians save money so they can live better."
