Climbing Wall Homes

This House By Carney Logan Burke Lets Dwellers Scale The Siding

Carney Logan Burke is the architect behind this unique two-storey boxed abode that is simultaneously a climbing wall home. One side of the exterior facade has been expertly turned into a rock climbing unit that allows dwellers to scale the siding to reach the rooftop above.

The home is quite minimalistic and modern with black panelling on the exterior structure and a simplistic cube shape. The home is built using corrugated metal sheets that are low-cost, but provide durability and sustainable design. A special strip along the side has been fitted with a grips and a harness so consumers can climb up the side of the two-storeys to reach the rooftop. The design provides an interactive structure that allows consumers to stay active while enjoying the outdoors.
