Acute Art is the worlds first VR art platform that facilitates artist creation in the virtual world.
This project is meant to be the world's first art gallery without walls. The work done for Acute Art is meant to be consumed anywhere in the world. They work with universities and researchers from around the world to find ways to make its artists visions a reality.
To launch the project, Acute Art has tapped Marina Abramovic, Jeff Koons and Olafur Eliasson to create pieces they feel are important. For the platform, Abramovic created 'Rising,' a social commentary on climate change where participants make decisions in the piece that determine if the planet and Abramovic live or die.
This VR art platform plans on launching late 2017 and will call upon young emerging artists for its next series.
