To promote the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball tournament this year, a volleyball machine was set up to mimic the power and agility of Kerri Walsh Jennings.
The appropriately named Kerri Cannon was developed to give fans the experience of what it might be like to play against the professional beach volleyball player. Rather than take her on in person, the Kerri Cannon serves as her replacement, which would probably save people from a lot of frustration and embarrassment anyway, judging from the number of people who wipe out in this video. As well as getting the chance to put volleyball skills to the test in person, ASICS also created an interactive online expereince where fans could take control of the Kerri Cannon remotely.
