Since the release of Garmin's vivofit, tons of people begin and continue to keep up their fitness-related goals. Released at CES 2014, the vivofit is waterproof and customizes itself based on the user's habits. The device sets different daily goals, keeping exercising fun and preventing your body from a plateau.
Along with customization, the quality that makes this a real gem is that it doesn’t need to be recharged. The company promises that the battery will last a full year on a single charge. It runs off of two coin cell batteries that, if need be, are user replaceable.
The vivofit is set to be shipped to retail within the first quarter of 2014, and is available in black, purple, teal, blue and slate, in small and large and costs $129.99. For a more informative caloric burn, there is another model available for $169.99 which includes a built in heart rate monitor.
