HTC launched a Vive Sync beta program that allows businesses to utilize a free VR meeting system. Organizations can access the system through an app that is available to all, regardless of the size of the business, and access will be available until the beta program is ended. The system can facilitate a maximum of 30 people in a meeting at one time, and users have the ability to customize an avatar to mimic their own appearance.
HTC spoke about the virtual meeting system when it was initially revealed a number of years ago, "VR collaboration tool where internal teams can meet in a virtual shared space."
The Vive Sync beta program comes at a time when more and more organizations are searching for solutions for virtual communication.
