Shnap, a visual search tool, was recently launched iOS, as well as Android and Chrome browsers. The app is currently available in both English and French, and more languages will be added in the future. The visual search tool empowers users to find items they want to buy using a similar image. Shnap is able to find comparable products using an AI system that uses characteristics, like styles, patterns, colors, and more. The system can also assess if the organization selling an item is legitimate.

The platform had been tested for over a month, and the company found that consumers were using the Shnap to find three to five images a week. Cayley Ostrin, the co-founder of Shnap, stated that "We want Shnap to be tightly integrated into the overall shopping experience."
