During its Career Day 2021 event, Amazon India introduced 'Virtual Recruiter,' a voice-activated hiring assistant that will allow job candidates applying to positions at Amazon to easily receive relevant information about the company and role.
The innovative new system will assist job seekers by providing them information regarding Amazon's interview process, and policies, as well as offer them custom guides and training resources so that they can better prepare for the selection process.
The 'Virtual Recruiter' is all about improving the candidate's experience by making the application process more engaging and intuitive. The voice system will be available on all devices equipped with Alexa, Amazon's signature voice assistant product. "Virtual Recruiter is a step in the direction of making the candidate experience smoother and seamless", said Raj Kaza, Director of Talent Acquisition – Consumer, APAC, Amazon.
