For those who are unable to make the trip across the world to see the Northern Lights in person, this virtual reality light show is the next best thing. In November this year, Finnair will be sponsoring an experience at Tokyo Midtown called Finnair Aurora, which will recreate the colorful lights of the Aurora Borealis.
To help people capture the experience, the exhibit will feature booths where you can have your photo taken with the faux Northern Lights—which might turn out to be a pretty great way to trick people into thinking you went on a real trip. The event will also serve tons of different Scandinavian snacks and there will also be a 'Finn Generator' machine that will help translate names into Finnish.
