Instead of having you burn some virtual rubber, 'Beneath the Surface' is a virtual reality experience from Chrysler that takes you inside one of the state-of-the-art facilities where its cars are made.
The experience is now being set up at the LA Auto Show and requires participants to put on an Oculus Rift DK2 headset to view. Once strapped in and seated inside a real car, you have the chance to look in every direction possible, seeing the car virtually picked apart before your eyes. This VR experience gives you a look at what goes on under the hood of the car, how hundreds of parts come together in harmony and the process that brought Chrysler's cars from the assembly line to the LA Auto Show.
