Powered by Samsung Gear, RBC's AVION Holiday Boutique was conceived by Canadian creative agency Brightworks and is available to experience in person in Toronto and Burnaby, BC.
The interactive experience offers users the choice of three different destinations: a beach, golf course and kitchen. A catalogue of related rewards comes up, such as sunglasses for the beach they've been transported to, which can be redeemed. YouTube 360 videos have also been produced for each of the reward locations and are viewable using Google Cardboard for those unable to visit the Boutique.
The virtual reality campaign allows consumers to be fully immersed into the travel rewards, thus increasing user engagement with the RBC Rewards program.
