If you have a child that is visually impaired or knows someone who does, then I suggest you take a good look at VICDA (Vision Impaired Children’s Development Aid). VICDA is an amazing tool and toy that helps handicapped children with physical development, specifically between the ages of birth to four-years-old.
Created for an international student competition, VICDA should actually be put into production. Through different settings such as tummy time, sit and play and walker, VICDA encourages children who have no visual motivation for movement to explore both their surroundings and their bodies' capabilities. VICDA can also be used for children who don't have vision impairments but are experiencing delays or issues with physical development.
