UK-based wine importer and producer Boutinot brought in branding and design agency Biles Hendry to create a new brand identity for a trio of Riojas wines named Vega del Rayo.
The agency decided to take the brand's classic style and turn it into a new and updated contemporary label. By adding a modern design of the Carlos Serres vineyard, the agency gave the label a fresh look that captures the provenance of the region, yet offers a design that stands out from all other wines on the shelf. The region is known for the ever-changing climate that produces dramatic thunder storms, which is why a lightning strike was added to the label.
Biles Hendry's new branding for the Vega del Rayo line by Boutinot is available in stores now.
