Supreme is tapping Vans for another skater-focused footwear collaboration, this time introducing the ‘Vans Skate Grosso Mid.’ The new sneaker will arrive in three colorways, highlighting the work of skateboarder and documentarian Jeff Grosso using his signature Vans model. The silhouette was crafted especially for Supreme to display artist Nate Lowman's work. Supreme previously spotlighted Lowman’s work in its Spring 2022 collection and other past launches, so the artist’s return to the streetwear industry was inevitable.
The uppers use a bullet hole motif that extends to multiple areas of the shoe. The canvas and suede base is contrasted with bold white stitching, and the tongue tag features a shoutout to the Grosso name. Vans branding can be seen in the usual spots: sitting on the bottom of the heel and on a hangtag next to the laces. The sneaker will come in three black, white, and red colorways.
The Supreme x Vans Skate Grosso Mid collaboration will debut globally on the Supreme website Jul 7, 2022.
