Canadian airline WestJet helped two Toronto-based couples pull off a romantic Valentine's proposal in Barbados.
The airline approached two men as they shopped for engagement rings last November, offering them the opportunity of a lifetime. Under the airline's instruction, the men told their partners that they were traveling to the island to shoot a WestJet commercial. The seven-minute spot follows the men (and their soon-to-be fiancees) as they wait for WestJet's spokesperson, Ian, to give them the go-ahead to propose.
Heartfelt videos such as these aren't new for the airline, which released the 'WestJet Christmas Miracle: Real-Time Giving' video back in November 2013. To date, the video has garnered upwards of 40 million views. This Valentine proposal is yet another example of the airline showing off its "fun, friendly and caring" side.
