Food and romance have always been deeply intertwined, from intimate dinner dates to heart-shaped boxes of chocolate, but the food delivery platform foodora is taking that connection literally with its Valentine's Day food bouquets. Rather than offering up elaborate flower deliveries, as is tradition on the February holiday, foodora is focusing on its area of expertise, instead giving gourmand couples the chance to send one another bouquets filled with snacks from some of its partner restaurants.
There are six Valentine's Day food bouquets available through the foodora app in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. While sweet option 'I adough you,' is full of candy-topped, vanilla-glazed mini donuts from 'Fancy Franks,' the 'BAE-con' bouquet from 'Bacon Nation' is filled with deep-fried bacon roses and is geared toward those with savory cravings. Other bouquet options to choose from include a macaron-constructed 'Shape of my Heart' bouquet from Bon Macaron Patisserie, JUKE Fried Chicken's tasty 'Fowl Play' bouquet, Mr. Puffs Plateau's 'For the Love of Puffs' bouquet and Club Soya's vegetarian-friendly 'Soya into You' creation
Foodora's bouquets are available for pre-order through the app on February 12th and 13th, with deliveries coming on Valentine's Day. The romantic (and caloric) offer is available in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
