Hacker Architects built urban basecamps for residents and travelers who enjoy outdoor pursuits, but prefer the convenience of the city. The wooden abodes are located in a small town in central Oregon called Bend, and are in close proximity to the ski slopes and mountain trails of the Cascade Mountains.
Hacker architects utilized quality warm pine and cedar wood in the construction of the three-storey units. The urban basecamps have been designed with altering layouts of two and three bedrooms, making them optimal for multiple residencies. To meet the needs of the adventure lover, Hacker Architects combined each temporary tenant's space with an accessory dwelling unit and a garage at ground level.
