eBay's Up and Running Program Helps Businesses Transition

eBay launched the Up and Running program, which will help transition small businesses to sell goods online. The Up and Running program was specifically designed for retailers with no e-commerce presence, who had to close down due to COVID-19. eBay will allocate approximately $100 million to the program, which will be used to support North American
businesses.

Trough the program eBay will offer eBay store font for a period of three months, where up to 500 products can be listed. Businesses that are new to eBay will also get recommendations and access to resources to transition its business.

Jordan Sweetnam, the SVP of eBay North America, spoke about the rationale behind the Up and Running program, "eBay was built on the simple premise that connecting buyers and sellers around the world creates economic opportunity, and this is exactly what we need to be doing – now more than ever."
