Horror-inspired theme park experiences and events are often limited in availability to only being around during the Halloween season, but Universal Horror Unleashed has been announced as a new initiative that will change this. The theme park experience is slated to be the first tenant of the AREA15 20-acre expansion in Las Vegas and will consist of four haunted houses for guests to explore. This includes The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Universal Monsters, The Exorcist: Believer and Scarecrow: The Reaping, which will each offer immersive and intense experiences to thrill visitors.
President of New Ventures for Universal Destinations & Experiences Page Thompson spoke on Universal Horror Unleashed saying, "Universal’s rich history in the creation of the horror genre drove our desire to bring a year-round horror experience to the incredible entertainment offerings in Las Vegas. We’re thrilled to have our award-winning Creative and Entertainment teams working tirelessly to bring these terrors to life in 2025."
