This proposed underground dwelling has everything you could want and more for those looking for a home that is as luxurious as it is unconventional.
The contemporary designed 'Perdu' home was conceived by English architectural firms NC Homes and Huntsmere and sits below a green garden space. Under its earth shelter sits a three-bedroom home complete with a full kitchen, living room, workout space and swimming pool with its very own waterslide. Natural light is also filtered into the underground dwelling through a dome-shaped skylight at ground level.
The 'Perdu' home is also designed to be eco-friendly and limit the amount of natural green space that would be consumed from a conventional above-ground home. The below-ground design also means the inside temperature remains constant, and additional features also include rainwater harvesting and a solar-powered water heater.
